”We operate HPS2000, 3000 and 5000 pump units in our rental fleet which are used in the Oil & Gas services, drilling, marine and shipbuilding industries. Year after year the Hughes range of pumps give us excellent service, even when used across the Middle East region which must be amongst the harshest working environments in the World”.

Designed to comply generally with the requirements of API Standard 674, our positive displacement, reciprocating power pumps are capable of discharge pressures upto 3000 bar (43,600 psi) & flow rates to 773 lpm (46.4 m³/hr / 7003 bpd / 205 usgpm).
The pumps are produced in nine frame sizes, each including a range of plunger sizes. This allows selection of the ideal pump for the job, with a compact design, high power to weight ratio & a choice of construction & seal material to suit the specific application.

In addition to the more common triplex layout of pump, five cylinder versions offer reduced flow variation for applications requiring minimum pulsation. Close-coupled reduction gearbox drives are available, with a choice of gear ratio to suit most prime mover speeds. |
The power end of the pump features robust cast iron casings with splash or pressure lubrication & oil cooling, according to the application.
Stainless steel is the standard material used for the fluid end with alternative materials such as Duplex or Aluminium Bronze available for increased corrosion resistance in more specialist applications.
Splash or pressure lubrication, fully supported crankshafts, reduction gearboxes, ceramic plungers & the latest seal materials are employed throughout the range
Bare shaft pumps or complete skid mounted sets can be supplied for use in safe or hazardous areas (ATEX compliant where required), using electric motor or diesel engine prime movers mounted in certified offshore crash frames or containers, with or without acoustic dampening.
Ancillary equipment available includes pulsation dampers, relief & loading valves, directional control valves, filtration & condition monitoring.
